Heather and Velvet

This review is by guest reviewer/blogger Sharon.

Heather and Velvet – Teresa Medeiros

This book focuses on two different people – Prudence and Sebastian in 1791. Prudence was orphaned and lives with her aunt who does not really care for her but only takes care of her out of obligation. Sebastian was also orphaned at a young age but instead takes to a life of crime as a highway man stealing from the rich to be able to live. They meet on the off chance during a storm where she is chasing after her kitten and she takes care of Sebastian after he falls off his horse and hurts his ankle. We then continue to follow their relationship through many different incarnations until they are both satisfied with where they end up.

This book was your typical romance book in regards to the storyline. There were some interesting twists to add some interest but nothing major. It’s a nice easy read though and nothing that you have to think too much about to get through.
