I've been a reading fool the past few days.

Well, not really, but it seems like it. I finished listening to Alabama Moon last night. Although I had been very much enjoying the book, I could have done without most of the last CD. Yes...it was a happy ending. However, so much of it felt forced. It was so pat and predictable. Granted, it's a book written for upper elementary-middle school students, and the main char (Moon) did deserve a happy ending, but, oh, I don't know. It just rubbed me the wrong way.

Yesterday, I also finished Right Behind You, which gets its own post...just because I want it to. :D
