Children's Book Week

What kind of Children’s Librarian am I!?!? Here it is, nearly the end of Children’s Book Week and I haven’t blogged about it at all.

I’m going with the excuse that I’ve been sick all week. Yeah. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

So, this week is Children’s Book Week. “What’s that?,” you ask. It’s a week dedicated to celebrating books and children. Since 1919, CBW has been celebrated nationally. The past few years it has been celebrated in May (May 10-16 this year).

So grab your favorite children’s book and read it again. Read a story to your child, grandchild, niece, nephew, next door neighbour, etc. Buy a book for a birthday present. Celebrate Children’s Book Week.
