Rock Star – Jackie Collins
This book focuses on the careers of three different singers and the string that ties them together. All three are coming in to perform at a charity event put on by their recording company. It takes us through their lives from before they even have a career and up until the night of the concert.
The book jumps from one character to the next, but as long as you are paying attention to what is going on it is not too confusing after the first one or two jumps.Overall, I enjoyed this book. It did keep me engaged from the beginning to end, but it wasn’t to the point where I had to read every second because I couldn’t wait to find out what happened. If you are someone who does not like reading about drugs and the rock and roll lifestyle, this is not a book for you.
