Copycat

Erica Spindler – Copycat

Decided it was time to switch genres and decided to pick up this mystery book to read. The topic of this book could be a bit tough for some even though it is fiction, as it focuses on little girls who are being killed. The main character is the detective who is looking to find this killer and stop him and the challenges she faces along the way. This is the second time around with this killer and between the first set of murders and these her life fell apart – her daughter died of leukemia, she became an alcoholic and her husband left her. She had just gotten her life back together when this killer started up again.

I’m still kind of undecided on this book and I finished it a few days ago. It was interesting in that we are watching a character that isn’t perfect and how she is dealing with her nemesis and fighting the need to go back to her drinking.
