Months after her deceased boyfriend ghost has turned into a shade, Aura still cries for him. She wants to go on with her life, and may be close to being able to when Logan reappears. The impossibility of him returning as a ghost after being a shade isn’t the only mysterious thing to happen; Logan returns to life once again – even if only for a few moments.
The love triangle still exists between Aura, Logan and Zachary. As Aura and Zachary puzzle through the meaning of their births – Zachary the last before the Shift and Aura the first before it – the two become even closer. Logan swears he is going to find closure and let his soul rest, but only after he makes a huge musical comeback.
Likes
The twists and turns surrounding Aura and Zachary’s births. Learning about Aura’s mother. Seeing how Logan’s death has realistically affected his family, especially how much Logan’s younger brother has changed.
Dislikes
Logan and his all about him attitude. Even when he says it isn’t all about him, it ultimately is. Do ghosts’ personalities never evolve?

Sequel to Shade. The final book in the trilogy, Shine, is due out Summer 2012.
