Looking back at my storytime plans from early in my career, here is one for Fire Safety Week. While visiting the local fire station is a lot of fun, I'm glad that we no longer do a storytime on this theme! Finding fire station/firefighter themed picture books for preschool storytime can be a bit of a pain. So many are too wordy - or just too boring - to use in storytime.
