Felicity Floo Visits the Zoo by E.S. Redmond

The animals at the zoo are sick, and it is all because of one little girl – Felicity Floo. She visited the zoo and, after wiping her nose with her hands, petted each and every animal in that zoo, spreading her cold germs everywhere.

This is a cute little story with adorable illustrations. There’s a lesson in the tale, but it is told in a humorous way. Throughout the pages there are little shiny green handprints – Felicity’s handprints – on the animals she touched. The rhyming text makes it perfect for a read-aloud.

Roly Poly Pangolin
by Anna Dewdney

Roly Poly is small and scared of new things. When he hears a sound, he tries to run away. While running he trips and rolls into a tight little ball. Peeking out, he sees another little pangolin. The two find that some new things – like friends – aren’t scary after all.

Another sweet story from the author of the Llama Llama series of books, Roly Poly Pangolin is sure to delight little listeners and readers. With rhyming text, this is a great read-aloud book about making new friends.
