Forgiving

Forgiving
– LaVyrle Spencer

This is a book which takes place back in the late 1800’s. A single woman comes to Deadwood looking for her sister who had run away from home. Once Sarah finds her, she tries to convince her sister that she needs to change her life and come live with her operating the newspaper that she started. Meanwhile, as Sarah is one of the only females in Deadwood, and the only single one, she starts being courted by many of the men about town. As the story develops, we see Sarah struggling with her emotions in regards to her sister as well as the men who are suddenly so prominent in her life.

For this being a romance, it definitely was not as hot and steamy as some other books can be. If you prefer your romance to leave more to the imagination, this may be a good selection.
