Iron Lace

This review is by guest reviewer/blogger Sharon.

Iron Lace by Emilie Richards

Iron LaceThis is an anthology story with the head of a family telling the story of her life. She hires a writer to come to her home and listen and then write the story on paper to be distributed to members of the family. In the course of the telling, many secrets are revealed. It starts in 1893 in the New Orleans area and finished in 1965 in the same area.

Likes:

The story itself is intriguing and keeps your interest.
It is a study of doing the thing that is right versus what is expected of you and the repercussions of whichever decision is made.

Dislikes:

It is a very long story and there were points that I got bored

Other:

There is a second book, Rising Tides, which follows a later family member.
