Mary Wine – To Conquer a Highlander
First of all, I am not sure that the title of this book is truly appropriate, as I didn’t feel that it was the highlander being conquered, it was more of the woman that he stole. But I digress on that fact.
For those that like their romances hot and steamy, with description to go along, this book will give you that. I would have preferred some different words in some of the scenes, as some words which are used make me think more of porn than of a romance book. Maybe the author wanted those scenes to read like that?
Overall, this book was satisfactory. It did take me a little while to get into it, as the plot took a bit to be developed and to give you an idea where things were going. Once I got about 80 pages in, it started to capture my attention and I was able to finish the book within the day as it is not a hard read.
